Best way to maximize value

I just picked up a old scrap book that has approximately 87 signatures including 2 ted Williams, Joe Dimaggio, Jackie Robinson, Larry Berra, Luke Appling, Phil Rizzuto

As you can see the cuts have been pasted in an album, but most are a good size and present well.

Looking for opinions on the best way to maximize return -- most of the signatures on a page are sorted by team -- do i sell the pages by team, cut out the big signatures and have them authenticated, contact Upper Deck and see if they are interested. Or of course sell the book as is.
Thanks in advance for any advice.

If you ask me, I think taking that book apart would be a tragedy. It's a piece of history in and of itself. Think of the effort that went into putting it together.

I agree with Greg, in that it would be nice to keep the book together, but to maximize value I would remove them, have them authenticated, have the cuts framed and matted with an 8x10 to make displayable. At least do that with the Dimgaggio, Williams, and Robinson cuts.

Even DiMaggio and WIlliams are not worth the price of authentication when cut like that. I really dont know if taking it apart will maximize anything since almost all of the signatures in that book are going to be less than $10 on ebay with the exceptions of the Williams and DiMaggio (maybe $50 each in that shape) and probably $200 for the Robinson. I would probably either keep it together or remove the Robinson and sell the rest as a lot. Unless there is a really rare name in there, signatures like that just are not rare enough for there to be a strong market when oddly cut since it would be hard to display them. However, they are really nice when viewed in their totality in the book. Just my opinion.

There are many clubhouse (not authentic) signatures in the scans. The following are not real, and have no value whatsoever:

Both Ted Williams
Mickey Harris
The Roy Partee signature on the left page in first scan (there is a real one on the next page)
Luke Appling
Birdie Tebbetts
