Walter Johnson Original Photo

Nice, large full-bodied image of The Big Train in his delivery. This photo remains in excellent condition with original publisher's crop marks at Johnson's right foot... very cool.

Original photo measures 6" X 9 1/2" and is dated "4-29-25". Times Staff Photo is also stamped on the reverse side. Price is $235 (delivered with insurance) or best offer.

1945 Jamestown Falcons Pony League Signed Ball with Jim Levey

I have for sale a team signed 1945 Jamestown Falcons, a Detroit Tigers affiliate, baseball. The ball is a Wilson Official PONY league (Penn-Ontario-NY) baseball. The ball is in great condition with no shallacking. Some of the more important signatures on the ball include:

Jim Levey - manager of the Falcons - an early Jewish baseball player who played for the St Louis Browns in the early 30s and played in the NFL for the Pittsbugh Pirates for 3 years starting in 1934.
Lilo Fano - Cuban Baseball Star of the Havana Cubans in 1946-47
Barney Hearn - lead PONY league in hitting with .352 avg and had later influence on the NY Yankees and the pony league.
Lyle Parkhurst- a member of the Chautagua County of NY Hall of Fame.
Ken Humphrey - Lead the Pony league with 162 hits

GPC (slabbed by PSA) and 3X5 (dated 1947, PSA as well). These are far tougher than the checks, but available for the same price! Your choice, $1200 each.





Mel Ott:

Rare full-name version signed in bold pencil. Would matte nicely. Early example, dates from 1927. $650 (PSA)



Lou Gehrig:

Ink cut removed from an album page. Would matte nicely. (JSA) Reduced to $3300:



Babe Ruth:

Attractive 5X7 B&W photograph of the Bambino with a young fan and the boy's grandfather. Framed and matted with two other images to an overall size of approx. 18X36. (PSA and JSA). Oversized. Reduced to $2800.
