Very Old softball, single seam leather

I am trying to identify what appears to be a very old softball. Covering is made of real leather. It has alternating red and leather stitches in the SINGLE stitch running down the middle. It has a mild soft feel to it.

For some stupid reason I can't get a picture to upload on here. If you'd like to see a picture please post or email me your email address and I'll send you a picture. I'm not a scammer or anything like that trying to get email addresses, lol, I'm just trying to figure what I might have and if it happens to be worth any value. Last thing I want to do is ebay something for five dollars that might be worth 500 for all I know. Any help would be apprechiated, -Brian
