Does anyone know if there are any Negro Baseball Team Photos included in the early 1900's editions of either of these publications and, if so, which issues?

Phil- I have a complete run of Spalding Guides and can't recall seeing a single one. I don't think Reach has any either. Of course, I can't claim to have looked at every page.

I have a 1913 reach guide and there are a couple of pictures of semi-pro type negro teams near the back of the book. Also I am fairly certain there were some breief negro league write ups in the guides of the early 20's, a good resoruce concerning guides is the library of congress site which has a number of guides scarned in as PDF's
