Hunt's and Upper Deck Merger?

I saw an interesting discussion last night on the SCD memorabila forum. The topic is about Hunt and Upper Deck merging. It doesn't say if Hunt's was bought exactly, but sounds that way. Anyone know the whole scoop? Below is the link to the SCD forum

I think you meant Upper Deck and Hunt's Carlton.

I'm always surprised to see people say they won't bid on a Hunt's auction because of the crappy website. It's not that difficult.

There was a press release some time ago saying that they were "teaming up" but it didn't imply that Hunt Auctions is going to be swallowed up by Upper Deck. In any case, it's not clear to me what they would do for each other.
