WoW Truly amazing a Ruth hat sells for $328k... This is only one of 3 known. This one had Ruth's initials inside of brim of cap!

I still think that 328k is quite a bit of money for a baseball cap....As I said on the other side it is always supply vs demand in any collectible market....(thanks for posting this on this side)

Lots of money... But I would personally prefer a Babe Ruth Game-worn Yankees Cap to a Honus Wagner Card in mediocre condition. Just my personal preference,as this seems like a far more important historical relic than a card (for about the same price).

The Cap is a very personal and vital piece of the game itself (and worn by its greatest player, no less). The card is something that simply commemorates the game.

I know it's all about supply and demand however, and of course there is no right or wrong. Just my two cents...

Just think back then they never used batting helmets so who knows how many home runs the Babe hit while wearing this hat.
