I am looking for vintage baseballs for sale...preferably official american or national league balls, but will also look into older double coloured lace balls. Email me or leave a message on the tread.
American:
Ban Johnson
Ernest S. Barnard
William Harridge
National:
Harry C. Pulliam
Thomas J. Lynch
John K. Tener
John Heydler ( 2 seperate eras )
Ford C. Frick
Thanks, Greg. Yeah--I feel the same way. But I've found that when placed in a good ball display, and oriented to show the stampings, the signature is pretty much covered.
Hello
I have a William Harridge ball the print is quite faded but with a magnifying glass the name is readable, it also has a big scruff on one panel. If your interested I would be glad to take some pics for you.
The ball has just red laces, I attached 2 pictures so that you can see how faded the name is and one to show the scruff on it. Let me know if your still interested.
Thank You
Romeo
I have an old MacGregor Goldsmith ball in the box. Probably from the 40's with only red stitching. I also have a nice red and blue stitched ball, but it is unmarked.
If you're interested, let me know your email address and I'll send you some photos. Thanks
Matt
