Thoughts on Vintage Cooperstown Creamer and Mets Megaphone?

December 10 2008 at 12:12 AM

I was looking for any info on the two pieces shown below. The first is a ceramic Cooperstown creamer(?). Measures just under 4" tall. The second is a New York Mets megaphone. The megaphone is made of plastic and stand just under 7" tall. I believe the megaphone is from the 60's. Not sure about the Cooperstown item. Any thoughts on age or value? THANKS!

Ben,
Neat items. If I had to guess, I would say the creamer is from the 50's. Value probably isn't all that much because it pictures the Fenimore house, not the Hall. For those that haven't been there, the Fenimore house has some of the greatest American Folk Art that you will ever see. So, If you go to the Hall, check it out, there about 5 minutes apart.

The megaphone is neat. It looks to be from the 60's and is the first that I have seen. I'd imagine a Mets fane would pay $50-75 for it.
Matt
