1948 Cleveland Indians Hat

Hi-
This post is sort of an FYI for Indians collectors regarding a hat that says Cleveland in red letters and has a red Indian profile on it as well as a red bottom section (see scans below). The hat I have has 1948 World Series written on it in ink (as well as team and series information on the back). I am posting this because I own several Red Sox hats that could be dated from the 1940s to the 1980s, and the hat scanned below at least shows that it was available in 1948 (I wish I could find similarly dated Red Sox hats). Sorry for the obsucre post, but I hope it helps at least one collector!

No need to ever apologize for posting scans of cool Indians memorabilia! happy.gif

I have an Indians hat that's similar to yours but has Chief Wahoo instead of the head-dress version of the Indian. I appreciate you posting the scans.
