Well, we could all go on all day long about soft goals and how could 1 goal sap all the heart out of a team that came out and played 18 opening minutes that certainly looked like they were poised to hoist the cup.

We could talk about who did what wrong, who needs to step up, the physical play, shooting rather than passing, the ineffective power play trying to set up a perfect shot etc. etc.

Let's leave it like this though, Patrick Roy played a great game, he showed why he gets praise while Marty gets overlooked. One goalie showed the heart of a champion and gave his team the chance to win, unfortunately, he had the wrong jersey on.

Saturday night comes down to this folks, TWO PLAYERS. That's it just TWO PLAYERS:
Martin-"I get no respect"-Brodeur, needs to give his team the chance to win it.
Jason-"I want to be Captain when Stevens retires"-Arnott, needs to show the courage and heart of a champion and lead his team to victory.

VERY FEW TEAMS GET THIS CHANCE, BACK TO BACK CUPS, UNFORTUNATELY, MADDEN SEEMS TO BE THE ONLY DEVILS PLAYER WHO REALIZES THAT THERE MAY NOT BE ANOTHER CHANCE FOR IT DURING ANY OF THE CURRENT ROSTERS' CAREERS.

GET IT DONE, BRING IT HOME, REMAIN THE CHAMPIONS WE KNOW YOU ARE.
