My Dad Allen Badager from Massachusetts was stationed with the Marine corps in Peiping China from june 1946 until December 1947. I have a couple of photos of Peipine, and ariel of the great wall of China and a photo of he and his buddies in from of one of the Flying Tiger Planes. How did the Flying Tiger planes end up in Peiping after WWII? I don't know anything about his service in China. He never spoke about it. All he ever said was that there were snipers shooting at them from the mountains around the base. There was a lot of card playing and drinking that went on. He talked about chasing a rat around the hanger one night with a bayonnet. Would love to know more.
