I mistyped the dates my father, B.H. Gibson, is known to have been in China in my previous message.... B.H. Gibson, my father, landed with the first post-war occupation forces in Sept. 1945 and left China for the states sometime between March 1946 and May 1946. He landed on Okinawa by plane 3 days after the fighting began, around April 4-5, 1945. Anyone having any knowledge of my father's whereabouts during this time period, please contact me.
