Welcome to the Joe Norwood Golf Swing Forum. Joe Norwood 1892-1990 started teaching golf at the age of 18 in 1910. He taught golf from 1910 to 1990 for a total of 80 years. He was a charter member of the Professional Golfers Association-Southern California section. It was chartered in 1924. He was host professional for the 1st Los Angeles Open and host professional 4 other times when it was held at the Los Angeles Country Club. He was head professional at the Los Angeles Country Club from 1921 to 1946. His book “Golf-O-Metrics” and video “The Anatomy of Golf” are available by logging onto my website which is shown on every thread. The mission of this forum is to teach you the JOE NORWOOD GOLF SWING. My goal is to provide you with more information to help you achieve this swing which is horizontal back and vertical down not horizontal back with horzontal down rotation as with most other swings. Debating other golf swings or comparing other golf swings does not help you achieve this golf swing. Read through the posts and try it. The best reason to switch to the JOE NORWOOD GOLF SWING has to do with one question. When you miss a shot do you wonder why?
