And that's all they got?

May 12 2012 at 8:22 PM

that when Romney was something like 16 or 17 years old he was a typical snot faced teenager?
That and it's almost 50 years ago...glad to know that no one ever changes from when they were a teenager.
We'll have to remember that next time Obama talks about how his views on Gay Marriage have "evolved".
Apparently, they evolved a few times.
When he was running for State office....he was for it.
When he was running for the US Senate. He was against it.
When he was running for President, he was against it and now that he's running again,
He's for it.

Holy shit....really?? REALLY?
That's what they're gonna hang their collective hats on?
Ok...fair is fair.

Let's dig up every stupid thing democrats did when they were 16.
Committing murder wasn't sufficient to stop Ted Kennedy from being reelected repeatedly.

Then a liberal will take that fish and give it to someone who refuses to fish

The Parents of the victim are against this and are pissed thier late son's name is being used for political purposes.

So Romney was a Spoiled Rich Kid Frat Boy ....so what ....why did we need a story like this to believe he acted this way?

I think, Rich...at the top end of the food chain...your party may be losing it's mind.
Win at all costs and there is no human cost that is not acceptable collateral damage.

But Sal, it is both parties that are the problem

May 15 2012, 8:37 PM

It is not just one party that is at fault for what is wrong in America right now, it is both parties and politicians on both sides of the aisle.

You can blame Obama, you can blame Bush but it is Congress that actually passes the bills that then get blamed on the President. CONGRESS IS BROKEN - IT NO LONGER FUNCTIONS AS A SEAT OF GOVERNMENT.

Think about it, the last time Congress actually did something on a real bi-partisan basis was when Newt was in charge. Since that time they have just played games and passed partisan legislation and nothing real has been accomplished.

arizona politics

June 8 2012, 6:34 PM

i wish you guys could see the adds that are running down here .. now that anyone can run a political add, it is really comical .. all attack adds .. and we are just getting started .. we have a private company that runs our prisons .. the more inmates, the more money they make .. any politician who opposes the new laws they come up with are fair game for the attack adds ..the big attack is, "he sides with oboma in opposing arizona's immigration law" .. does each state have its own immigration rules ??

this is the most backwards, redneck, racist place i have ever lived

Is it redneck to oppose illegal immigration? Is it rednect to insist laws be enforced?

Is it redneck to enforce laws against illegal immigration?

Perhaps we should let the open-border liberals have one border state they can experiment with. Then we can see how open borders works out for them.

that's a little simplified .. arizona want's to write their own laws

June 13 2012, 9:22 PM

but that's only a small part of it .. we have two county sheriffs trying to outdo each other and fill the prisons so the company that runs the prisons give them more money for their campaigns

it's also the bumper stickers we see on the trucks .. the talk we hear in restaurants or standing in line for groceries or at the post office .. the stories about going down to the border and "picking off a few wetbacks"

we don't need permits to carry concealed weapons AND we can carry them into bars

you guys, up there, have heard the false stories (and even reposted them) and outright lies that have been told by those who want to make the situation sound worse than it is

there are reasons why it took so long for this state to approve the martin luther king birthday holiday .. there are reasons why we do not do daylight savings time

now, they are trying to pass a law to show proof of citizenship to get utilities .. more untrained people trying to spot phony passports

i could go on and on but i stand by what i said

this is the most backwards, redneck, racist place we have ever lived

The most effective way to curb illegal immigration is to penalize employers,

June 14 2012, 8:52 AM

including citizens who hire illegals for nannies and yard work.

Congress is doing exactly what we (the Tea Party) elected them to do.

June 10 2012, 11:14 AM

Block the insane Barack Obama deficit spending, and block any legislation that would appear to violate the Constitution.

From my perspective I would say that this Congress is more effective than many Congresses before it.

Obama's agenda has failed, we should not be throwing more money down that rat hole.

If the GOP really wanted to sabotage Barack Obama (and if they didn't care about hurting the country in the process) they would pass the entire Obama agenda. Obama has done more to discredit liberal policy than a dozen Rush Limbaughs could ever dream of doing.
