Which Epiphone Pro-V bass finish looks better?

This is an Epiphone (Chinese) knock-off of the famous Gibson Thunderbird, but with five strings.

The sunburst looks more formal and more like the original T-Bird. But the natural is interesting too.

The natural almost looks like some hippy stripped off the finish and never completed the refinish job.

Some say this ax actually sounds better than the old T-Bird.

Any opinions?

The ax comes in black too, but I already have a black Ibanez 5-string. nt

Now if I wanted serious quality I would pay 10x for a Mike Lull T-Bird.

Made right here in Bellevue, WA.

What an awesome ax!

Here is a local band using a Mike Lull 4-string T-Bird.
(I think the bass player is a drag queen, but I'm not really sure of that.
This is Seattle after all.)

In terms of Looks

I like the bottom one.
But I have to ask you Izzy..

WHY?

Why would you support China? Why would you want the red headed bastard stepchild of Gibson to begin with?

In terms of quality, I'd take the Mike Lull T5 bass any day.

But at $3,500.00 each, I'll have to think about it a bit.
