Mulder being gay

Just my opinion, but I've always thought Mulder was either gay or bi, with a heavy leaning towards men. Just from the lack of women in his life. I mean DD is gorgeous, so it's not like Mulder couldn't have his pick of people if he wanted. I know he's obsessed with his work and shit, but people need release sometimes. I know about the tapes and his solitary pleasures. I just always thought it was a subtle hint that the pleasures Mulder was seeking weren't with women and since they weren't free to show that they just left it up to our imaginations. I've thought about if from a slashy viewpoint and tried to be objective, not letting my slash tendencies color it. Hard to do, but I tried. I really think Mulder is gay or bi.

Hell, I saw slash in the Red Show Diaries movie between Jake/Tom, so don't look at me. Hell, I didn't even know about the lovely world of slash back then. I do now. Thank God! I'm so happy that I do.<g>

I'm thinking of doing a Jake/Tom fic soon. Still working out how they get together though. Playing with my options and which one I can get inspired by.
