Ken Russell

I've always been a big fan of Ken Russell’s work. My whole sense of visual image was warped, I mean formed by his films. Women in Love is one of my all time favorite movies. It was really the first time I saw women acting in an unselfconscious sexual manner. I always remember Glenda Jackson’s, line, "Tonight, I want to drown in thighs." Doesn’t that say it all?
And don't think of the Oliver Reed you saw in Gladiator. When he was younger and less debilitated by drink, there wasn't a sexier bull on the face of the planet.
If you want to see something challenging, visually stunning, and totally kinky find a copy of the Devils.
Sorry about going on like this, but I haven't heard anything about Ken Russell in a long time. The mention of Women in Love reminded me of why he was my favorite for so many years.
