I'm with you on that

That annoys the hell out of me too. When I first started reading M/K fic I'd wince everytime I heard Mulder refered to as "the older man". In truth from the information I've seen on the net (validity of that is questionable, but I've seen it appear again and again) DD and NL are like a little under two years apart in age. I don't think Krycek was ever supposed to be that young either. Everyone always has him in his early 30's, I've always thought of him as just a about 2-3 years younger than Mulder.

Just because he was green didn't mean to me that he had to be alot younger. He could have started in the FBI later. I think you have to be in before you are 35, so he could have been in his 30's.
