Even the Gunmen think Mulder is a little nuts. In the first ep we see them, they laugh at Mulder. Telling him that the reason they like him is that he's even more paranoid than they are. So even at times they question his sanity. They did side with Scully in that one ep is season 8, damn can't think of the name of it. When Mulder wanted to break into the Census bureau computer banks. Mulder said that great line, "This is America Scully, just because you get more votes doesn't mean you win." Which is amazing since he was in a either kidnapped, dead and buried or in a coma during that time. I got lost on exactly when he was supposed to be what. Since Scully was pregnant for like an entire year. Had to have been an alien baby since it only takes humans 9 months to gestate. Wonder why they never wondered about that?<g>
