Thanks Anonymous, I'll try that next time I'm on my LBB.
Incidentally Rick, my phone line is excellent. ATT Telco retiree tech here, so would be aware. And until I put this PC on DSL on the evening of Nov 5th it ran well on dial up.
Also downloaded ATT's Free dial up for backup, and tested it at OVER 50KBs.
Nope, it is all these ads.
The Host that Pete moved to after the announcement that msn grps. is closing down is also FREE, no ads, and works equally well, with PC, TOB, and TNB. Actually I take that back, on the LBB, Pete's host does have some, very few POP UPs, but does not lock up the LBB. On the PC the pop up blockers set in both browsers I use keep those away.
