AOL shut down their "hometown" on Oct. 31. Aol's hometown was their online community and a place where aol users could store files and build a personal web site. AOL shut down hometown without any notice to it's users. Needless to say AOL hometown users are really pissed. It seems a few major internet providers are reorganizing and changing things or no longer providing services they use too, and there is nothing wrong with that. But, to not inform your users, to just shut down with out warning, is just plain wrong.
