I'm absolutely with you on Keith Moon. Never got the appeal, but there again The Who generally leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Swing is all important, even I get that. Never knowingly listened to Slayer but both Phil Rudd & Bill ward tick that particular box, to my ears anyway.
The Headmaster's Ritual moves along with a sense of frenetic drama that nicely echoes the lyrical content within. A great opener & an evocative postcard from the '70's for all those who went to school back then.
HOH, the first album of theirs I bought, is something I'll put on tonight.
