Note that in all the photos except the indoor one 'U' there appears to be a dark area around the join in the first pair of track gaurds. Why is this not visible in the indoor shot?

The 1945 side view from Spa 'X' shows the darker colour area around the track hangers. The 1959 photo shows that they tried to replicate this area but it does not match exactly. Photo 'Y' shows another dark area on the turret front that is not on the 1959 photo 'W'.
So by 1959 at least the Tiger was repainted.

I think that 'H' and 'P' are roughly the same date but in 'P' a darker stripe appears between the two number 3's. Is it an older base colour being exposed like the pattern in photo 'B'?
The more I look the more of a puzzle it is. I am sure photos 'E' and 'F' are the earliest pics but which is the first?.
