I don't think it's a disconnection per say. I just feel like it's a little strange. Of course the embryo wouldn't come to be if my uterus wasn't involved & I'll probably never even meet the father, even though the mom & I have become friends via the internet. I don't know, I've always had dreams about "our" baby & wondered which one of us it would resemble & such. Just has to soak in that it won't have my nose (thank god!) or Bill's eyes. Well maybe it's a good thing it won't be genetically linked to us after all! LOL! It's something that will be fine once we're pregnant & see the little heartbeat. I mean, it's not like I slept with another man to conceive the baby.
