my modern day mona lisa...
that beautiful smile that can pierce the heart of the sun rise...
eyes that shed emotion back into my heart...
all the things that i can't show you, even through this painting...
i wish that you could know that i would give my soul to know for just one moment that you always loved me and not another...
the disillusion of what i want and what the harsh reality is...
the butterfly smiles before it screams.
bursting my ear drums, and shattering my state of mind...
reflections cast in the glass of the picture frame...
as i stair into those eyes forever frozen in this state, wishing that the look you have in this portrate was for me and not another...
