Any know of reputable shops that can build a gas tank within 250 miles of Sandusky, Ohio (Northshore between Cleveland and Toledo) I know I've seen magazine articles of bike builders in Ohio and Michigan, but Google searches aren't getting the results I am looking for.
I'm not just looking for the tank, it needs to be fitted to the bike with the look I want. It's for a Triumph so it needs to have a deep tunnel for the stance I want. It needs to be a face to face type of meeting so the builder knows exactly what I want, that's why I put the limit to a 500 mile drive.
250 miles? Thats a 500 mile round trip, with the rates you can ship tanks you can have anyone in the country build them. Did you see the ones Bare Knuckle paul built for his old man? Those are as good as any I have seen anywhere. If you have your heart set on Northern ohio, try Tuff Cycle in Cleveland, Tank is top notch, He has done several of the Drag specialties cover bikes in the past 10 years.
