Charles E. Allen, fought in Mindanao, Phillipines, originally platoon 410

I am looking for anyone who knew or served along with my father Charles E. Allen. He was from Rockville, Indiana and was originally with platoon 410 training in California when his father died June 1, 1944 and he was sent home for a week and then reassigned with another unit. He fought in the Phillippine Islands and was in Mindanao. He served from April 1944 to April 1946. I would appreciate any information. Also I have a group picture to share if anyone is interested.
