research on my dad/

I would like advise on how to research my fathers war years. He died in '64 when I was 9. He served in the Pacific.I have various addresses indicating battalion
designations. My father was proud to serve. He did not boast about his service. Thank you for any help. Thank you for your sacrifice., dk

Hello, I was wondering if you could tell me how to find info on a Sgt.Walter Andrews. He served on DDay, and in Germany. Medals-Purple Heart, etc.
