i have the same feelings even though we dont have any kids yet. as we're starting our first DE cycle, i wonder if we are successful will i love this child as much as if it were from my own egg. everyone has to ask this question, it's a totally natural concern in this crazy unnatural situation we're all in.
there are a lot of threads that address different but similar aspects of your question. and every one of my concerns has been allayed. it's clear that from the moment the DE embys are tx'd that each one here who has been through it thinks of that child as their own and is so grateful to be a step closer to success.
there is one poster who despite a rotten IF journey actually said she was grateful that she's IF because otherwise she wouldn't have the kids she now has and adores.
