I agree... your age and medical data suggests that you would not be successful with OE. I admire your patience regarding your DH. I would not have been able to do that. It sounds like you really want a child, so it appears that the time has come for you to put your own needs first. And if that means DE, then you deserve to go for it.

I understand your sadness/anxiety about moving on with DE. It's a shock when doctors tell you that your own eggs are crap. Despite having regular AF and ovulating, I was diagnosed as perimenopausal at age 30, but the decline likely began years earlier. It just doesn't seem fair when healthy women who did everything right are robbed of the chance to have genetic children, but it is what it is. The good news is that DE -- while not always successful on the first time -- can eventually offer so much hope. With a healthy donor, you have excellent chance of finding success.

Set some deadlines for yourself, do your homework, and move forward.
