For books, I really enjoyed reading high quality literature for teens, things like the Golden Compass series, The Girl with the Golden Egg, I will have to go back and find other titles. My husband is in education, so that was easy to get titles for.
I also love: Mennonite in a Black Dress (this was read while sitting next to my Mom as we escaped her abusive husband and moved her west, and yes...it had me laughing aloud in the aisle.
he silly Twilight books which reminded me of what it felt like to be a horny teen instead of an old lady ttc to every month...
I am reading Tina Fey's Bossy Pants and I laugh out loud every page.
Dalai Lama's books.
Movies: anything by Nora Ephron (It's Complicated, etc.), all the Sex and The City movies, no matter how bad they are, Mean Girls, Old School, Mel Brooks, anything with Gene Wilder in it...True Blood Series on HBO.
