these meds until at least 12 weeks if I get a positive from this cycle. So, I think what the ladies are saying above (and below re your questin on progesterone too), is that your RE seems to be way out of step with other protocols. I would tell him you are not comfortable and want to stay on these meds until 12 weeks, at which time you will agree to be weaned off them thereafter.
