I loved my late-September transfer, it made for a wonderful pregnancy time (fall/winter/spring) with a perfect mid-June birthday for my little one. Was able to coast through the December holidays incognito and not showing yet to nosy family, then the post-holiday period was spent cozy and nesting. The timing could not have been better (although any time is a good time for a transfer!).
