Sometimes photos look different than the real person, depending on the light, angle, and how they were taken. We wanted to see our donor from as many views as possible.
There was one donor who looked very much like me in her profile photo, but when the agency sent additional photos, I could see that she really didn't resemble me at all. Needless to say, we didn't choose her.
