for your responses - I'm really appreciative and the points you raise are all valid/spot on. There is something with this donor that resonates with me - her background, education, ethnicity - I can't explain it. I asked about the CD2/3 levels and they said most donors are on BCP when they come in (I'm a bit sceptical about this) so that's what they don't test. They do test AMH but they would not tell me the level except to say that it was within normal range (I bet hers is better than my dismal 0.16). We decided to go forward - I know the risks. The donor's parents are both doctors, so I'm hoping she is mature/responsible enough to follow the drug regime. This is all a leap of faith.
