I have had hemorrhoids in the past although they weren't very painful and went away after about a week. My mum also had non-painful ones, mostly internally and because she had no pain she didn't realise she had them until one started to bleed suddenly and fiercely. She got such a fright she went straight to her GP who asked her if she had hemorrhoids. She said no, then doc examined her and told her she had quite a few! Anyway, her doc prescribed steroid suppositories for a while and that cleared them up. Might be worth checking out with your GP.
