Well, you certainly are not the only IPs committed to an unproven donor (m/c, pg)

Found our ideal donor after exhaustive searching, she was also unproven. Had chemical pg on fresh cycle and after that, I knew our 6 frozen blasts were doomed to fail. So we decided to get on her waiting list and pay for another cycle with her, panicked that other IPs were lining up for her despite our failure and her unproven status. It was a risk for other IPs to sign up for a donor who had a failed first cycle that looked great on paper (and TWO other couples booked her on the heels of our failed cycle, then two others immediately behind us, before anyone ever got pg). Waiting for her to do her other cycles gave us months to blow through our 6 frozens (BFNs) and also to line up a surrogate for the next fresh try.
