As you were told & as with thesameboat, I have both mutations & was treated with baby aspirin & Lovenox, pre-cycle & throughout pg.
There's certainly room for argument here, as doctors are not in universal agreement & some women do just fine with no intervention.
But the bottom line is that you should have been party to a conversation about the issue & you weren't. If you want the more proactive approach, as many of us have had, you are entitled to discuss/debate that with your physician & switch clinics if necessary. By depriving you of your test results, your old clinic made the decision for you without any input. That is wrong. (Your current clinic sounds proactive, so some of this is worded just to make the point.)
This is why, to the point of sounding like a nut probably, I always say get your test results in hand. Do not accept positive, negative, normal, abnormal, etc. Look for yourself. I went through much grief b/c I didn't have my test results & had to rely on what I was told, which I later found out to be, mmmm, let's just say not entirely accurate or complete.
I'm so sorry & I sincerely hope you can continue on with your journey for a child.
