For the DQ alpha match, how does it apply when using DE? How can the theory be valid when the egg donor is never checked, only the recipient and genetic father? The egg donor is supplying half the genetic info. If the theory is that too close a match between the gestating mother and the genetic father can cause the gestating mother to reject the embryo, then the same type of embryo rejection would happen if the gestating mother and genetic "mother" were too close a match. There was no attempt to test the donor though.
They could not answer this, only to say they have not really looked into DE much for DQ match. |
