My clinic didn't require any bed rest except for the half-hour or so they kept you in the waiting room for transfer patients. They just said to take it easy for 24 hrs and not to lift anything over 5 lbs during my 2ww (which I also couldn't manage due to travel).
I'm actually surprised we're still having so much conversation about bed rest now, because the studies coming out near the time of my successful cycle suggested that bed rest not only did not improve success rates, they seemed to be higher without it. Did new studies come out?
I'm not sure I did retain any sanity, so I can't comment. I did wait 48 hours before flying, but that was an overseas flight. You know, I adore my twins, especially as it would have been very hard to try for a sibling, but having two same-age children, especially boys, does detract from the parenting experience you desire (and you're used to) and makes it harder to give your children the attention they need. If you already have a child, think hard before deviating from your plans for ESET.
Good luck in all!
