That the reason why U.S. clinics seem to still impose bed rest after tx isn't because they know it isn't necessary, but because they want to prevent women from doing stupid things after tx. A friend of mine told me about a woman she used to work for who did 17 unsuccessful OE IVF cycles, which all apparently failed because she wouldn't stop running before, during, or after. Now, that woman sounds like an exercise anorexic, and you have to wonder whether her whole problem conceiving in the first place wasn't due to her running compulsion, but there are some crazy people out there.
