That one is considered very accurate and diagnostic, as compared to the "screening" type blood test that gives you the approximate stats. It has only been available for a year or so.
Usually with a positive result on the materniT21 (or a poor result on the screening-type test) they recommend an amnio or CVS (if early) to be 100% sure.
