there isn't any way to know if those 6 would be any good either. of course, one could do a fresh cycle at a clinic with their own donor pool, for say 20-30K for the entire deal as example, and come out with as many eggs/embryos and have a resulting failure or m/c, and/or nothing left over frozen as well, for no other attempts. it's happened here plenty of times that recipients have nothing left to show for the money invested.
really, with the frozen egg route, one saves possible donor headaches, not showing up, not taking meds correctly, not qualifying to begin with, and then of course there is donor travel and expenses and agency fees.
there is risk with any attempt with any of these options, frozen egg is just another possibility that needs weighed in light of individual circumstances. unfortunately, there are no guarantees with any option or choose, darn it. seems like there should be when the costs are as high as they are.
