I see that many women use the vaginal estrace and the vivelle patches to thicken their linings? Is there an option to use delestrogen shots? I am not sure of the pros and cons of each, but I had just started cycling at another clinic when the donor pulled out, so I never got to use the vivelle patches that I had been prescribed. Now I am at a new clinic. I told the Dr. that I had the patches that I had not used. He told me that their protocol called for the delestrogen shots, but if I wanted to try the vivelle patches we could. It might just take longer for my lining to thicken. I told him that I was in no way married to the patches and that we wanted to do whatever would give us the best shot to get pregnant, in his opinion. We did a mock cycle and my DH gave me the delestrogen shots ever 3 days. I did 3 doses and when I went for my lining check it was 10.2. I was actually shocked because the nurse had originally written out the schedule for me to take 5 shots, but the doctor had me get my lining checked after 3. I don't know if this is just my story, but I was wondering if you tried delestrogen and if it might work for you.
