Granted, this based on a sample size of one - me, but we had a donor fall through because she'd been using an IUD, and the IUD caused a huge cyst that engulfed an entire ovary. She was a proven donor. I've heard both from clinics and agencies that cysts are common among IUD users. There is also anectodal evidence that IUDs, and hormonal IUDs, in particular, compromise fertility in the short term (once removed, obviously).
Our doctor advised us against moving forward with this donor because he couldn't see one ovary and the follicle count was too low in the other ovary.
We've since stayed away from donors who are on the IUD. Again, it may be nothing, but this made us wary of donors using the IUD.
