Hello again . Couldnt reply to you yesterday as we were flying the whole day . Lot of flight delays and cancellations due to bad weather . Here is the cocktail for egg quality .
Myo Inositol, 2 grams, twice daily
Melatonin, 3 mg, bedtime
CoEnzyme Q10, 200 mg, twice daily
You could start taking it even if you are trying naturally . For me , the melatonin made me too sleepy and I couldnt function at work so had to quit taking it , I did take the other two .
Like your embryologist , my embryologist recommended donor egg after the very first cycle . It took me 5 more of my own egg cycles to get the point of acceptance for donor egg . The time taken for this journey varies . Some may feel donor egg is not for them . I didnt want to see my dh suffer . We have spent a lot of money and basically still living in an apartment etc . Also I am tired of sepnding my life being miserable and depressed when I could be happy and raising a child I do feel that I have a lot of love to give and absolutely do not care about genetics at this point .I am 37 and want to live my life and create my family by whatever means possible . I am very thankful to have that option available to me and hoping it will work .
CCRM is very expensive . I think it costs about 20 thousand for the cycle . It is actually close to 30 thousand with the intitial work up, travel and other miscellaneous costs.They like to repeat all the workup even if it has been done outside .
And I have not heard of using adderall for implantation . I really do not think your is an implantaion issue . It is clearly an egg/embryo quality issue . Implantation failure is when a person is transferring good quality blasts and not getting pregnant.
Your family history could have some impact , but more importantly , we can clearly see what the issue is . Poor embryo quality (mostly egg related ).You could try cycling or keep trying naturally until you feel you are ready for donor egg or you get lucky . For some people living child free is what they decide to do . For us , we are very happy and excited with DE and hoping that will get us our miracle . You will certainly need time for this decision ,these boards are a resource to help you think through these issues , good luck .
Fragile X is one of the causes of issues like ours . I was tested and found negative . It is less likely that it is the cause of your issues , though certainly would be a good idea to test and rule it out . Here is a good link to the condition .
