Re: Had had adhesion removed, but . . . (kids ment'd)

thank you so much for posting - it's helpful to have someone else's experience. I am at Cornell and my doctor there did get the opinions of several of his colleagues on my HSG results and all agreed it was OK to proceed. I am obviously (very) concerned however.
In my case, the adhesion did not show up on the SIS, which is generally all that Cornell does as a check before DE. I did the HSG on my own initiative. I seem to have just one adhesion on the right cornual portion, if this means anything to you.
I agree with your statement that the surgery can just make the scarring worse - this is exactly what happened to me. My doctor told me this morning that although I could get another operation it would likely just come back again and very quickly.
I was also surprised to hear that your SIS may have caused some cervical scarring? I'm surprised that the saline could cause this?
In any case, I'm glad you had success - it is encouraging for me!
My lining is good (already at 10+, with the donor set to trigger in next day or 2) - so all I can do is cross my fingers and hope for the best. It was a bit of a blow to get this news mid-DE cycle so I really appreciate your response.
