So happy to have a guy on here. This may sound a bit selfish, but it might be great for us gals to get a husband's perspective on things too!
Firstly, congratulations on your bfp!!! Don't worry, you can never have a false positive pregnancy test, but false negatives do happen more frequently than you would think.
I've used this line many times on this board, but many people put the emphasis on the negative of this statement...
"hope for the best, prepare for the worst"
What I mean by this is that we are all too familiar with the let down of our precious embies not taking, so we focus on preparing for this. This means that we then forget to have hope. There is always hope and in your case, there is an abundance of it.
I wish you both the best of luck and for a smooth nine months with a precious baby afterwards!
