Congratulations on your pregnancy and your twins! As others have said, yes, you are considered High Risk due to a multiple pregnancy and being AMA (Advanced Maternal Age). I would highly suggest that you seek out a high risk OB / Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) specialist for your pregnancy. While everything will likely be just fine, they are very skilled in taking care of patients with these factors and you will be watched much more closely than a regular OB would do. They also have better monitoring equipment which is a nice benefit for you. With my pregnancy, I saw my MFM every 2 weeks and had an ultrasound each time. It was wonderful to get so many opportunities to see our little one growing. I was monitored very closely and still ended up going into labor at 32 weeks and this time it was a singleton. Best wishes to you and wishing you a safe, healthy, easy pregnancy. Congrats, again!
