I've found anti-depressants really helpful in my life though I do not take them now. I was on anti depressants when I got pregnant with my first son and just went off them prior to transfer. Then switched to zoloft which (as another poster pointed out) is safe during pregnancy and breastfeeding. For me, its' true -- you have to find the right one. Some do numb feelings but it's different with each person. If you're really immobilized by your depression it might be a good idea to consider taking antidepressants just to get back into functioning.

I did Iyengar yoga when I did my first cycle and found it very helpful. acupuncture during all cycles, and changed my diet. This cycle I just did acupuncture with supplements (herbs and vitamins) and dietary changes -- little sugar, no caffeine, little dairy, etc. (I can never be black and white about it) Jury out on whether it's been helpful to me.
      Hope this helps you!
      Katherine.
